Luxor
A full day trip to ancient Thebes: Karnak Temple, Queen Hatshepsut's Temple, Habu Temple, the Colossi of Memnon, two tombs in the Valley of the Kings, plus an alabaster workshop and a papyrus workshop. Extended stays and alternative sites can be arranged on request.

Trekking rides timed for early morning or late afternoon to avoid the heat of the day — a one-hour beach ride or a two-hour desert ride. Riding helmets are mandatory, and rides are limited to 3 riders at a time.

A desert safari roughly 55 minutes south of Roots, at the entrance to the desert trail — a one- or two-hour ride with a stop halfway. Crash helmets are mandatory on quads; timed for early morning or late afternoon.

Cairo Pyramids
An early departure to Hurghada Airport for a flight to Cairo, with a guide for the Great Pyramids and Sphinx at Giza and the Grand Egyptian Museum's Tutankhamen treasures, plus Khan El Khalili bazaar if time allows. Returns by evening flight to Hurghada.
